ABOUT CHRISTINA

Christina Fu is an architectural designer specializing in single family residences in Arcadia, Pasadena, San Marino, and the surrounding neighborhoods.

Christina graduated from the University of California Berkeley College of Environmental Design in 2001. She began her career in residential architecture in 2006, worked at James V. Coane and Associates as an architectural designer.  In 2016, Christina start her own design firm specializing in personalized residential architecture.  She finds her strength and expertise in taking old houses, reviving them to fit the current owner’s desires, restoring the integrity of the characters of the house, creating a home with a comfortable flow, and, perhaps, a safer place in which to live. 

Besides designing homes, Christina also enjoys running, cycling, swimming, hiking, Taekwondo, and playing the piano. She is also a mother of two very active boys, and wife to a former Marine. OOORAH!

COLLABORATE

Silver Elm Studio collaborates with local Interior Designers, Landscape Architects, Kitchen and Bathroom Tile Specialists, Contractors and Engineers to create an integrated design team for our projects.  Through early collaboration and integration with the various consultants, Silver Elm Studio seeks to create residential designs that are well planned out,  with a process that reduces delays and last minute decisions during construction, with better control over cost and time.
