  • FISCALLY RESPONSIBLE—As a company we spend and invest responsibly, and we apply honesty and transparency in all budgets and costs.
  • COLLABORATIVE GROWTH—Homeowners grow by gaining knowledge throughout the design and building process and our team members grow through professional development and learning new skills.
  • INFLUENCE THE FUTURE—We carefully consider how each project can positively impact the neighborhood, the community, and the homeowner for generations to come.
  • PURPOSEFULLY GIVING—At the heart of Silver Elm Studio we empower one another to achieve their God-given goals and dreams, not only in our immediate relationships, but also in the larger community.  We empower the larger community by donating to organizations that are helping those who need a “boost” in life.

Christina Fu is a designer specializing in single family residences in Arcadia, Pasadena, San Marino, and the surrounding neighborhoods.

Christina graduated from the University of California Berkeley College of Environmental Design in 2001. She began her career in residential design in 2006 as an associate designer for a prominent architect in Pasadena.  In 2016, Christina start her own design firm specializing in updating old homes for current day living.  She finds her strength and expertise in reviving old houses to fit the current owner’s desires, restoring the integrity of the characters of the house, creating a home with a comfortable flow, and, perhaps, a safer place in which to live.

Besides designing homes, Christina also enjoys running, cycling, swimming, hiking, Taekwondo, and playing the piano. She is also a mother of two very active boys, and wife to a former Marine. OOORAH!

Silver Elm Studio collaborates with local Interior Designers, Landscape Architects, Kitchen and Bathroom Tile Specialists, Contractors and Engineers to create an integrated design team for our projects.  Through early collaboration and integration with the various consultants, Silver Elm Studio seeks to create residential designs that are well planned out,  with a process that reduces delays and last minute decisions during construction, with better control over cost and time.
