This property is nestled in a quiet hillside neighborhood, away from the hustle bustle of the city streets. It is a great location for the new owners to raise their two young children. The original 3,000 square foot house was probably built by a developer in the early 1900’s as a mirror of the neighboring house, but it was a poor attempt to replicate the authentic Spanish style of its neighbor.

All interior finishes, exterior stucco, and roof were stripped down in order to reinforce the structure of the house. The electrical and plumbing lines all needed replacing to meet today’s coding standards.  The kitchen was remodeled to create a more functional use of space, and it was opened up to the family room and the dining room to give it a better flow and more expansive feel.

The exterior got an extreme make over as well, with new stucco, a new roof, and new windows.
